The Escapade along the Danube

Gear(s) used
The Danube, Europe's second-longest river, flows through ten countries and offers a diverse range of landscapes and cultures. Dorian alternated between cycling and packrafting, carrying his gear in panniers and taking advantage of the flexibility this combination offers to explore often inaccessible areas.
A human and introspective adventure
Beyond the physical challenge, this crossing was an opportunity for Dorian to experience a truly enriching human experience. Encounters with the locals in the regions he crossed, bivouacs in the wilderness, and moments of solitude all contributed to making this journey a truly introspective one.
Between raw nature and free exploration
Along the Danube, Dorian discovered a wild Europe, far from the tourist trail. From the wooded banks of Germany to the isolated meanders of Romania, each stroke of the paddle or pedal brought him closer to a simpler way of life, connected to nature. Sailing the tranquil waters at dawn, setting up camp under the stars, cooking over a wood fire… These simple gestures punctuated an expedition dedicated to freedom.
