Design & Study Office
Since 2021, JAWS has been heavily investing in research and development to design exceptional packrafts. Our approach? Bringing together engineers, designers, testers, distributors, and end-users around the table. Together, we design boats perfectly adapted to real-world conditions—whether it’s technical rivers, remote lakes, or demanding marine environments.
Using the best raw materials in the world, we develop several prototypes, tested and improved over months. Once validated, they are integrated into our range and distributed across Europe. This collaborative and rigorous process, led by our design office, is unique in the packraft world. It allows us to respond to the most extreme conditions with tailor-made boats.
JAWS is now the European leader in expedition packrafts, and this position is due to our high standards. Our boats have already conquered the rivers of Patagonia, the forests of the Amazon, the ice of Antarctica, the remote lands of Siberia, and the frozen waters of the Canadian Arctic.
Manufacturing & After-Sales Service – At the Foot of the Alps
By 2027, our goal is clear: to manufacture 100% of our boats in Isère, at the heart of the Alps. To achieve this, we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art machine park designed to ensure precision, quality, and autonomy.
Since 2021, we’ve also made a strong commitment with our distributors: to offer a short and controlled range to minimize stock while covering the essential needs of paddlers. A successful bet by 2023, with a collection that is simple, effective, and perfectly targeted.
